The tournament is the third major Chinese hard-court event of the season and features a 28-player singles draw. The heat is on for at least two players — Elena Rybakina and Jasmine Paolini — who are battling for the final spot at the 2025 WTA Finals.

The Yinzhou Tennis Center will host many matches, divided into two stages: the qualifiers from October 10 to 11 (scroll down to see all qualifying results), and the main draw from October 13 to 19.
The field is led by top seed and World No. 6 Mirra Andreeva.
All players will compete for 500 ranking points and a total prize of $1,064,510.
Daria Kasatkina will not defend her title. She is sure to drop 13 spots in the WTA Rankings. Kasatkina decided to end her 2025 season early due to burnout.
